The Unknown

In days past, I would think of days past & the past
The future we make is made by actions of the past
Now, we come to an edge we never imagined we would reach
And choices must be made for all & each
Friends & family close at heart, allies in distant lands
Thousands of feet trample the sands
But each & all end beneath it
I have never understood it
Eternity & momentary on the same plane
Which reaches an airport with an unknown name
Our happiness is forever for we are true
We are one & separated, me & you
A coffee & sandwich for lunch
Paranoia for brunch
What you fear does not exist
It is a veil like the mist
I no longer miss my frenemies
Nor do I really have enemies

Mpofana, nina nibadala ukudlula izizwe
Bathi "Sayidla inyama kwaMpofana" ngoba asizange saswela
Okwenziwa yizandla zethu kuyiqiniso, okweMpofana akusiwo amanga
UKhahlamba nolwandle luyanazi
Imilenze ehamba ifike emazweni
Nabethi bayoqeda ngoMpofana behluleka, kwaphuka izikhali baphelelwa ngamandla
Eyaqeda inyama yempofu ngakwoMsinga yayakwisibubulundu bathi ifenya
Kanti ayiphelanga yadla inhlanzi yaphela nya
Zayiphika izizwe zonke kanti zikhohliwe ukuthi zingamafikizolo
UyiMpofana m'vuli wendlela, imilenze ikhahlela amazolo

Why I admire Spain...

Spain is a nation state, i.e. a state associated with a particular cultural entity (a nation) & a sovereign territorial unit, that lies on the Iberian Peninsula of Europe. Anyone who knows me would say I admire Spain because of their footballing pedigree & they're right but that is not the only reason. Although I have never been in person to Spain - media, the internet & social media has made it possible for me to see what the Spanish are like. I really do believe that Spain is indeed one of the closest country's to perfect any modern land can hope to be. Why?  • Spain still has managed to maintain their ancient cultures alive in the modern age including having a monarch of the land. Many countries around the world have opted to dispose of the ancient system of being ruled by a legitimate (descended from a royal bloodline) monarch except a few around the world. Sovereignty

ABOVE: A common slogan & imagery when people rebel against oppressive, corrupt or foreign governance. We have a problem. We just simply can't mind our own business. I'm referring to this concept I learnt in the past decade, sovereignty . According to my dictionary, it is:- "The state of making laws and controlling resources without the coercion of other nations" for a country or for the individual,  "The liberty to decide one's thoughts and actions." And I understand that. An individual is their own sovereign, a family is sovereign over their own day-to-day practices, a romantic couple is sovereign in things happening between them, a nation is sovereign over the politics of their land. I have always seen things this way for as long as I can remember. It's your life & you will meet your fate, where will other people be when you're in the dumps by yourself?
