Why countries should consider planning for the future based on present patterns.

This may be just a brief essay on future planning but I think it is important which is why I wrote it. The problems we will face in future globally are overpopulation which may cause food shortage, water shortages & the ever present global warming (& climate change) which will be exponentially increased by an increasing population which will need transport, electricity & other goods which will release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Future planning also takes into consideration the path of life  the majority of individuals would take. In I. Y. I. L. E. 's proposals document, there's plans for man-made forests/vegetation, renewable energy plans (which have optimal potential maps), state owned electric & solar-powered vehicles (which would be the land's sole vehicle brand), population control... all these would help in making a better country & planet in future. On top of I. Y. I. L. E. 's proposals, there's plans to create quality indivi

I write things online to expose certain things that I believe should be known & I'm not a perfect person myself but I'd assume people in important leadership roles would be more caring of the people they govern as they are people & not robots manufactured in a laboratory to govern. And I really wanted to see a new Africa somehow, an Africa that's in touch with it's origins & has a simplistic approach to solving problems with the new technology  of today. I'd like to see a self-sufficient sub-Saharan Africa but that is just a dream because there are global capitalists that want to keep Africa, or parts of Africa, in chains. But in my African Dream, Africa would be food secure & have a big network of trade & be a bit socialist in that 1) our cars, buses & trains would all be made by various interconnected companies that use the same or interchangeable technology for electric & solar powered mobility . This would allow for all charging port

The Unknown In days past, I would think of days past & the past The future we make is made by actions of the past Now, we come to an edge we never imagined we would reach And choices must be made for all & each Friends & family close at heart, allies in distant lands Thousands of feet trample the sands But each & all end beneath it I have never understood it Eternity & momentary on the same plane Which reaches an airport with an unknown name Our happiness is forever for we are true We are one & separated, me & you A coffee & sandwich for lunch Paranoia for brunch What you fear does not exist It is a veil like the mist I no longer miss my frenemies Nor do I really have enemies Mthoko M. POEM: The ghost of Mthoko Mpofana

Foreword: This feels like a poem I would've written in my early twenties (or late teens) but I thought I'd retrace my steps & remind you all of my difficult path to present.  THE GHOST OF MTHOKO MPOFANA  You who think you knew the world before those who knew it before you are in great danger  Your hearts betray you & are controlled as though mere fire by the wicked so your efforts end in anger  Your anger is though misdirected because you envy a ghost  Flesh, bone & spirit intact yet still a ghost  What you envy is death  All those you praise & summon to fight for you are dead  What phantom could fear a joke?  A joke that is thought of as real but still a joke  We, the living dead, know your owners  They are puppets themselves your owners  They were led by lust & greed to their graves  As you will be led by lust & greed to your graves  Were I as foolish as you, I would be dead or long for death  But I was shown mercy by those greater than I, a fool I was

Does being civilized matter?

This question comes after watching the film The Purge & a few prank videos on YouTube. It made me wonder where the line between so-called civilized & uncivilized behaiviour should be drawn.  Being "civilized" to me is the concept of respecting other people, it is understanding that other people deserve to be treated with some form of respect. You'd think this is standard in most places around the world because if it weren't, not much would be left standing & everything would be torn to the ground. Little public infrastructure would be spared or not vandalised some way or another if there was no need to be civilized. A leader would try build something for the community & people would tear it to the ground. Would the leaders themselves be given any titles or would they be a number like the rest? Authority would be rejected by the people, all sorts of depravity would be standard in such an uncivilized society. No one would listen to authority, it would li
